For our garage project, we had three to four workers put in long hours during the less-than-two-day process, and they were helpful in moving a refrigerator out of my garage and wrapping it up to protect it from freezing temperatures and snow. Transforming your Patio & Porch begins with proper floor preparation followed by the precision application of LYNX Concrete Coatings’ premium polyurea polyaspartic system.
Prep Work
LYNX Concrete Coatings begins by cleaning and diamond profile grinding the concrete to ensure proper adhesion of material to the substrate. Any cracks or imperfections are filled.
Base Coat
A pigmented polyurea base coat is applied to achieve your desired base color.
- Flake Full Broadcast: A generous amount of flake blend is applied for maximum protection, slip resistance and durability.
Scrape off excess Flake
Once the material has set up, a careful scrape of the floor is needed to remove excess flake along with vacuuming.
Top Coat
The final protective layer is the crystal clear polyurea polyaspartic top coat. This provides the glossy finish and ultimate durability of the new floor
Curing and Dry Time
At standard room temperature, your Patio & Porch floor coating will cure within 3-5 hours. It is often ready for light use or foot traffic within 24 hours.
